There’s a Cure for the Dead!

Oh, man, oh, man, do we have a deal for you! Denver Pop Culture Con is teaming up with the Colorado Lottery for a chance for you to get into this year’s event—for FREE—faster than you can shout “CARL!”

So how can you get down with the sickness? Start playing The Walking Dead Scratch Game from the Colorado lottery and you could win up to $100,000. But here’s the best part: even if you don’t win the lottery, you can still win tickets to Denver Pop Culture Con!

In the Colorado Lottery’s “There’s a Cure for the Dead” promotion, even your non-winning tickets can make you a winner. By entering your tickets into this second-chance drawing (for five weeks starting February 2) you’ll have a chance to win two VIP passes to the next Denver Pop Culture Con, May 23rd through the 25th.

What does Denver Pop Culture Con have to do with The Walking Dead, you ask. Oh, I dunno, last year we only had Chandler Riggs, who plays CARL! and featured walker Michael Koske, not to mention Assistant Director Vincent Gonzales and (Dude, who am I forgetting?)… Oh, yeah. We also welcomed Michael Rooker, who played both regular flavor Merle Dixon and zombified Merle and later appeared in a small independent film directed by James Gunn.

You know what’s even better than getting into Denver Pop Culture Con for free? If you win the Colorado Lottery’s “Cure for the Dead” contest, you will also get two Speed Passes that will allow you to jump ahead of all those walkers in line for the Main Events. With announced guests like Scott Wilson (Hershel Greene) from The Walking Dead, Alan Tudyk from Firefly and Nichelle Nichols from Star Trek, who knows what greatness awaits at this year’s Denver Pop Culture Con?

The “Cure for the Dead” contest ends March 15, so don’t delay. Scratch your itch for all things Walking Dead and get your tickets today. You can’t win if you don’t play!
