One of the best things about PCC is getting to work with creators, makers, designers and artists from various creative backgrounds. Throughout the year, these artists lend their talents to Denver Comic Con’s and The Classroom’s programming, events and partnerships, helping to maintain the quality and effectiveness or our educational tools and outreach.
To ensure our programs and curriculum successfully engage and inspire students, we frequently collaborate with award-winning artists, publishers and accomplished art educators from various fields. We strive to contribute to the changing landscape of literacy and arts education through innovative uses of graphic arts and pop culture in the classroom.
We also teach students about the many career paths that pop culture offers by bringing artists into our workshops and classes throughout the year. In addition to giving students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a variety of pop culture subjects, these artists provide a source of inspiration and empowerment for students interested in pursuing their own artistic interests.
