Attendees that require special assistance, please contact us at ADA@popcultureclassroom.org prior to the event and advise us of your service need.
The Colorado Convention Center is an ADA compliant facility and offers amenities to ADA patrons.
Attendees that require additional assistance while at Denver Comic Con may be eligible for a Denver Comic Con ADA sticker. A Denver Comic Con badge must accompany the Denver Comic Con ADA sticker for entry into the convention areas.
- Attendees who qualify for the DCC ADA sticker will be accommodated with (1) extra sticker for a companion. Companions must also have purchased a badge for entry into convention areas.
- You may pick up your DCC ADA sticker and attendee badge upon entry into the Colorado Convention Center.
Note: Attendees must pick up both their sticker (1) and their companion’s (1) sticker at the ADA Services Counter. Please refer to event map for location.
DCC ADA Stickers Do Not Provide:
- Early access to the Show Floor
- Guaranteed access into panels, autographing and special events
Handicapped Accessible Parking
Designated handicapped parking is available on all three levels of the Convention Center parking garage. A valid state issued handicapped placard or license plate is required. All disability parking is on a first-come, first-served basis and requires payment at the automated pay stations.
Guide Dogs and Service Animals
Guide dogs and service animals are welcome at the Colorado Convention Center.
Personal Mobility Rentals
The Business Center at the Colorado Convention Center no longer provides scooters and wheelchairs for rent. Currently, there are no other onsite rentals services.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services
Denver Comic Con is committed to providing accommodations for all convention participants. The following accommodations are available upon request:
- Interpreting services (ASL) American Sign Language
You can also request ASL services at the ADA Booth at the Convention Center.
Access to Panels and Screenings
We will have dedicated areas for queuing for general convention entry and our panel rooms
SEATING IN PANELS AND SCREENINGS
All seating for our programs is on a first come, first served basis, and we cannot guarantee seating for everyone.
Attendees with a DCC ADA Sticker should line up in the line reserved for ADA needs. Having a DCC ADA Sticker does not guarantee entry. We encourage you to get there early and use your schedule to map out what events you would like to experience for the day.
