Tone Ellis de Jesus, President, is a graphic and digital design freelancer with extensive experience in managing large communications and marketing projects.

Derek Dye, Vice-President, is the compliance manager for the Colorado Public Employees’ Retirement Association. Dye brings nonprofit fiduciary experience to the CBC board.

Robert Keosheyan, Secretary, is founder and president of Denver Brandworks, a full-service marketing consultancy headquartered near Denver, Colorado. Keosheyan brings decades of experience in marketing and communication counsel, strategy and implementation.

Linda Weygant, Treasurer, is a CPA licensed in the state of Colorado with over 20 years of experience in accounting, tax  and business management consulting for non-profits and small businesses.

Seyan Lucero is the associate director of the Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF), a regional nonprofit arts service organization dedicated to the creative advancement and preservation of the arts. 

Janet Laning-Krug is the Student Assistance Coordinator of Expelled and At-Risk services for Douglas County School District. Laning brings comprehensive grant writing and alternative education project management experience to the board.

Jack Kronser has a life long involvement in public education with 38 years of district program leadership in areas of media services, staff development and human resources.

EX OFFICIO

Bruce MacIntosh, President Emeritus, is an attorney and the owner and operator of MacIntosh Real Estate School. He is also the Director of Programming for Denver Comic Con.

Christina Angel, PhD is the Program Director of Denver Comic Con. She is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver and teaches various courses including medieval literature, children’s literature and comics. She also created and leads DCC’s literary conference called Page 23.

Illya Kowalchuk, Pop Culture Classroom’s Director of Education. Illya is a curriculum developer and former teacher who holds a Masters of Education with a focus on Integrating the Creative Arts Into the Curriculum.
