Denver Pop Culture Con, Denver’s largest consumer convention and program of education-nonprofit Pop Culture Classroom, will screen the original Karate Kid film and conduct a special poster signing as part of the Karate Kid reunion programming at the June 17-19 event at the Colorado Convention Center.

Ralph Macchio (“Daniel LaRusso”), William Zabka (“Johnny Lawrence”), and Martin Kove (“John Kreese”) will be in attendance to meet and greet fans, sign autographs, and take photos as part of a Karate Kid reunion at Denver Pop Culture Con 2016. To kick off the reunion festivities, DPCC will screen the original 1984 Karate Kid film, with the humorists at Mile High Sci-Fi providing commentary, during the opening ceremonies celebration on Friday, June 17 at 7 p.m. On Saturday, June 18 at 6 p.m. there will be a Karate Kid Q&A with Ralph Macchio, Martin Kove and William Zabka*. After the panel, guests will have the opportunity to purchase a Karate Kid poster signed by the cast in attendance. Pre-sales for the poster begin on Friday, May 20 at https://register.growtix.com/e/denver_comic_con.

Denver Pop Culture Con has quickly become one of the most attended pop culture conventions in America. The popularity is due in part because of its robust schedule of programming—more than 300 hours of sessions during which artists, creators, celebrities and industry experts talk about their craft and their creations—as well as its family-friendly mission and environment. The largest portion of the show floor, more than 9,000 sq. ft., is dedicated to teens and children with activities designed to engage kids in education through pop culture.

*Subject to change to accommodate guests’ schedules. Please check the final program schedule immediately prior to the convention.
