Actor who plays Oswald Cobblepot from Fox’s “Gotham” added to guest roster

DENVER – December 15, 2015 – Denver Comic Con (DCC), the multi-media pop culture fan event and program of Pop Culture Classroom designed to help promote literacy through pop culture, today announced the latest addition to their 2016 event line-up: Robin Lord Taylor.

The film and television actor and director currently stars in the Fox hit television series “Gotham” as Oswald Cobblepot. The crime-drama details the lives of the fictional city’s inhabitants before Batman, which includes Cobblepot’s transition from a low level thug into a main adversary the Penguin.

Taylor’s other television appearances include The Walking Dead, Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Good Wife and Person of Interest. His film work includes the role of Abernathy Darwin Dunlap in Accepted as well as independent films Would You Rather, Cold Comes the Night, and Another Earth.

Taylor joins “Gotham” series co-star Morena Baccarin (Dr. Leslie Thompkins) in the event’s 2016 guest line-up that also include actors John Rhys-Davies (Indiana Jones; Lord of the Rings) and John de Lancie (Star Trek: Next Generation; My Little Pony), writer Peter David and guest celebrity panel moderators Garrett Wang (Star Trek: Voyager) and Clare Kramer (Buffy the Vampire Slayer).

DCC continues to add guests to its 2016 roster. The event will take place June 17-19 at the Colorado Convention Center.
