Issue #24 tells the story of Dr. Florence Rena Sabin, medical scientist, writer and lifelong advocate for public health whose work in the early 20th century transformed Colorado and the world. A pioneer for women in science, Dr. Sabin dedicated herself to helping others and encouraging women to “devote their lives to the larger interests of the mind.”
