Pop Culture Classroom would like to give a shout out to our friends at BronyCon which happens this weekend (Aug. 7–9, 2015) in Baltimore, Maryland. If you didn’t know, this event is the world’s largest convention for and by fans of the animated TV series “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.” It’s also been the focus of several documentaries like Bronies: The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans of My Little Pony and A Brony Tale.
Why do we heart BronyCon? Just like Denver Pop Culture Con, they are a family-friendly, diversity driven nonprofit event ran entirely by volunteer staff.
