It is with sad news that we must report the passing of comic book legend Paul Ryan, aged 66. Ryan worked extensively for Marvel Comics, most notably on the Fantastic Four, and DC Comics. But in recent years had focused on the daily comic strip The Phantom for King Features Syndicate. Our thoughts go to his wife Linda and the rest of his family, including his cousin Chad Callanan, who reported Ryan’s passing on his Facebook page this morning. Paul was a consummate gentleman, a good friend and a Fantastic artist. We will miss him terribly.
