Did you know that Denver Pop Culture Con presents the annual Page 23 Literary Conference – to celebrate the most interesting academic elements of popular culture?
We’ve been holding it at the live convention since our first year of Denver Comic Con in 2012. It makes sense because the mission statement of DPCC’s parent non-profit, Pop Culture Classroom, is “to inspire a love of learning, increase literacy, celebrate diversity and build community through the tools of popular culture and the power of self-expression.”
Although DPCC was unfortunately canceled this year, Page 23 Lit Con will still stream live – October 15-17, 2020! The public is welcome to drop in at any time, to watch any of the panels and presentations live on Zoom, such as “Playing with Dragons: Using Role-Playing Games to Support Academic Objectives” and “Twilight Zones: Democracy Thrives on Strangeness”.
Whether you’re an educator (primary through college) or you just need to exercise your brain from lockdown with the kind of programming you normally get at DPCC every year, there’s something for everyone at the P23 Lit Con. Join us for educational and entertaining content (full schedule here) .
